Temperature and humidity test

Temperature and humidity changes are the most common environmental impacts that products have to endure during their life-cycle.

Tests modeling environmental changes can be performed in environmental chambers using rapid and large variations in both temperature and humidity. Test procedures are performed according to international standards (e.g. IEC 60068) or according to customer specifications. Anyway, Toptester has nine environmental chambers with different temperature and humidity specifications. We have also environmental room in house for your needs.

Environmental tests can be performed as constant-temperature tests or variable-temperature tests. Also rapid changes in temperature can cause mechanical defaults in components.  So, in our environmental chambers we can introduce fast changes in humidity and temperature thus modeling the products’ life-cycle.

Temperature and humidity test: in-depth analyses of test results requires expert knowledge of the material properties of components

Toptester has expert knowledge of the material’s life-cycle changes especially in varying like temperature impact and humidity impact and also conditions. Thus, our 1000-hour test in an environmental chamber with specific parameters is the equivalent of products’ exposure for 10 years in a similar environment.

Our environmental chambers we can test the products’ functionality in cold, and hot, but also in humid and dry conditions. In this way, real-time datalogging is also possible in our environmental chambers, and clients can monitor the tests on-line. When testing large volume products we use our environmental room for that.

So, what is a temperature impact or humidity impact for your product?
